While it may not be completely necessary but did you know you could change the batteries in you flash light at the same time you change the batteries in your smoke detectors?  Yes, it is true you can do both at the same time.  Yes, it may cost you just a little more in battery costs buying these massive amounts of batteries but we will bet you don’t care when one of these tips saves your life and the lives of all of your family members.

It would also be advisable to have a candle or two around just in case you did not take our advice and keep the batteries in your flash light up to date and powered.
