It is sad but true that many of our December tragedies have been caused by faulty wiring going to a Christmas Tree or other decorative items in and out of the house when we are not there to immediately attend to a problem that might occur.  More than one family has lost a loved one due to this type of tragedy.

We do not have rain often in Las Vegas or our Southern Nevada region but if we do have rain make sure you have covered the electrical joints (where you plug things together) are covered with electrical tape and you have done everything possible to keep these connections dry.  It is just a proven fact that water and electricity do not mix so lets not offer any additional opportunities to bring these two foes together.
